How she does it all

“Children are the anchors that hold a mother to life”

Every week we ask a successful Mompreneur to share their success tips with us. It is a burning question that does be on most of our minds.  Just How she does it all?

This week we asked Sandra Novak from Sandra Academy to share her tips with us. We ask a set of seven questions on this blog series. It is a fun way to a have a sneak peek inside each other’s life!

What is your one main Productivity tip that you can share?

Redeeming the time, driving-listen to the audio book, waiting in line-do a 5 min language learning app, stuck in traffic-pull out the planning tools, always have some way to jot my thoughts down, write my notes on, and being over protective of my time, not allowing for time wasters. Sure, we should relax and go out with friends, and just let our hair down, but at the same time, those drawn out, pointless meetings are only a last resort if I simply cannot get out of it.

What are your must-haves for successfully managing motherhood and your business?

Fiverr VA’s, supportive husband, Trello

What are your success habits?

Regular vacations, regular sleep, and regular days off! I found I function best if I have a vacation (up to 7 days) every couple of months, I put all on hold then and just relax, ideas and creativity just surges after 5 days time. Sleep is essential, and so are regular days off. There are weeks that I don’t get to have my day off and my productivity suffers.

What do you teach your children that you have learned along your Mompreneur Journey?

Follow your passion, say “Watch me!” to naysayers, I am here to lift you up, teach you and support you!

How has being a mompreneur affected your family life?

I have decided to be a mompreneur to spend more time with my kids, I homeschool them on top of it, so we spend a lot of time together. Now that they are older, they do a lot of school on their own, and are accountable to themselves, I am here mainly as a coach and their ‘conscience’. I also get lots of help from the kids that finished school in the business and home life (cooking, shopping, cleaning,…)

What book has inspired you the most?

Rich Dad Poor Dad, 4 Hour Work Week, Lean In, Power of Broke

Just for FUN in one word, characterize your life as a Mompreneur?
