How she does it all

“My mother thinks I am the best. And I was raised to always believe what my mother tells me”

Diego Maradona

Every week we ask a successful Mompreneur to share their success tips with us. It is a burning question that does be on most of our minds.  Just How she does it all?

This week we asked Sophie Le Brozec from Sophie Le to share her tips with us. We ask a set of seven questions on this blog series. It is a fun way to a have a sneak peek inside each other’s life!

What is your one main Productivity tip that you can share?

Learn to say NO. Every time you say Yes to one thing you’re saying No to others, so be very careful with your Yeses. Do you really want to be saying No to paid appointments with clients or sleep and rest time for you? Start saying No much more often.

What are your must-haves for successfully managing motherhood and your business?

Internet, smartphone, computer for me + a rotation of colouring books, jigsaws, toys, games, playdates and when all else fails TV for the kids.

What are your success habits?

Getting enough sleep, getting up early, switching my internet off completely when I work, switching my internet off after dinner and when I’m on holiday. Clear lists and goals. Visualisation. Affirmations. EFT. Surrounding myself with positive, supportive people. Groups of fellow mums and groups of fellow entrepreneurs.

What do you teach your children that you have learned along your Mompreneur Journey?

Be organised. Enjoy what you do, do what you enjoy. YOU decide what you want to be, what you want to do, where you want to live, how you want to play this thing called life.

How has being a mompreneur affected your family life?

It means I get to choose the time I spend with my kids. Do I want to spend more time with my kids this week because they’re ill? Ok then I will. Do I want to get up at 5am so I can do some work then take time off to go to my daughter’s school assembly? Yes I do. Ok I’ll do that then. I get to choose. Not some boss who has no idea about my kids or my family life.

What book has inspired you the most?

Lucky Bitch and Get Rich, Lucky Bitch, both by Denise Duffield-Thomas. And if I’m allowed another one then it’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

Just for FUN in one word, characterize your life as a Mompreneur?
