How she does it all

“Being a mother is about learning about strengths

you didn’t know you had and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed.”

Linda Wooten

Every week we ask a successful Mompreneur to share their success tips with us. It is a burning question that does be on most of our minds.  Just How she does it all?

This week we asked Jenn Goonan from You got this PR to share her tips with us. We ask a set of seven questions on this blog series. It is a fun way to a have a sneak peek inside each other’s life!

What is your one main Productivity tip that you can share?

Write down your to-do list! The human brain can only hold 4 thoughts at a time. Although moms are awesome multi-taskers having a visual of your to-do’s keeps you more focused and productive.

What are your must-haves for successfully managing motherhood and your business?

Morning work out, a hard-copy calendar that includes family and professional commitments to help keep everyone organized (including the sometimes absent-minded hubby) and of course my iPhone that lets me manage all aspects of my world while on the go.

What are your success habits?

Scan industry and world news (love the Skimm’s daily am newsletter!), taking care on my well-being by eating healthy and going to bed at a reasonable hour. You can’t be on your game if you are exhausted. Lastly, have a good attitude and never stop learning. I like joining a webinar when the kids go the bed.

What do you teach your children that you have learned along your Mompreneur Journey?

I try to ‘walk the walk’ and show them when you believe in yourself, take calculated risks and have the courage to try new endeavors it’s really worth the investment in your professional and personal development.

How has being a mompreneur affected your family life?

We have some hectic days when my patience can run low with my kiddos, mostly because I love what I do and want to make sure my work is at 110%. However, my schedule is somewhat flexible so it allows me to be present with my family’s endless activities.

What book has inspired you the most?

Start with Why by Simon Sinek – highly recommend this book for anyone managing their own business with purpose and leadership.

Just for FUN in one word, characterize your life as a Mompreneur?

I have been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.

It is prertty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all websitye owners and
blogggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more
    useful than ever before.
